Brian Harman is currently riding the waves of success after winning the 151st Open Championship that was held on Sunday. The PGA Tour golfer had an amazing streak starting Friday. The Golfer led the game since round 2 and maintained his momentum throughout.
This was a huge win for Harman as it was his first-ever win in any Major tournament. Still, Harman is not a new name in the golfing world, as he has won two PGA Tours earlier. Therefore, it is understandable what this win meant for the golfer.

On Sunday, Harman finished with a 13-under par. His final scorecard read 67-65-69-70, with each round being under par. Moreover, Harman also set a 5-stroke lead in order to make the cut.
He subsequently followed that in order to maintain his momentum and create a gap between him and his runner-ups. In 1934, we last saw such a game when Henry Cotton held a 5-shot lead and won his first Open Championship.
Along with the prestigious title and accreditations, Brian also took him a whopping amount of $3 million in prize money.
