Pictures of Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto, enjoying a date night, have surfaced. As a result, the six times NBA champion is the new buzz on the internet. However, it definitely cannot beat what happened eight years ago when Jordan mistakenly found himself caught in a crossfire after a boxing match along with his wife.
It was 2015, and two of the boxing world’s biggest names at the time, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, was locking horn in the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The fight raked in huge viewership numbers as it was the battle of the two undefeated boxers at the time. Therefore, it was obvious as it would also host some of the nuggets celebrities from across the globe. Michael Jordan and his wife were on the star-studded list.
After the fight, as MJ and his wife were leaving the venue, they spotted two of the most happening internet sensation at the time having their own match in the parking lot. Naturally, the 60-year-old GOAT intervened, as can be seen from the resurfaced video.
However, as soon as the fight started getting heated up, Yvette’s wife instinct kicked in, and she pulled her husband away.
Internet beefs are timeless. However, the beef between Wack 100 and Charleston White is essentially one worthy of being at the top of the ‘Internet Beef Hall of fame’. The reason for the scuffle is unclear. However, MJ is seen being the voice of reason as he repeatedly kept saying, “Don’t push it! Man” therefore breaking up a fight that could have gone south pretty fast.
Although Yvette might not have been happy, the Internet just loved MJ’s presence of mind in handling the situation. Some fans even said that MJ is always a leader, and can be seen in the video as well.
