Happily ever after is not a stage that we all reach at one point. For some, love turns sour, and relationships crumble. Just because something started off as positive and happy does not necessarily mean that it will end in ‘forever after.’ This was true for notable former UFC strawweight Jessica Andrade. Andrade recently got through with her divorce with her former wife, Fernanda Gomes.
Divorce is already an expensive and emotionally taxing process. So, people tend to keep things on the low just to process it silently. Naturally, when those dirty laundries are aired in public, nobody would like it. And that is exactly what Joe Rogan decided to do during the UFC 295 fight. And immediately, my man got canceled.
The Cancellation Of Joe Rogan
Rogan is known to be somebody who likes to go deep into the personal lives of the athletes he is analyzing. But he mostly does it in his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and not during his UFC analysis. In the latter environment, the 56-year-old host and comedian seems to have a much more calculated and poised attitude. But as things would have it, Rogan broke character and did so in the sloppiest way possible.
As Andrade triumphed over Mackenzie Dern during her UFC 295 appearance, fans were already elated. Andrade’s performance managed to impress everyone involved. However, in his excitement, Joe Rogan wished for something that was a little on the nose. After a post-fight interview, Rogan ended the event by saying, ‘Well, hopefully, you get a bonus tonight to pay off those divorce bills.”
As soon as Rogan said the statement, fans went into a frenzy mode and canceled the 56-year-old sportscaster and comedian.
