The Golden State Warriors have hit another slump. And this year, the famed bad luck of the Golden State Warrior seems like it is back with a vengeance.
After losing to teams like the Nuggets and Cavaliers, the Warriors added another feather to their hat of losing streak. Even though fans anticipated a streak of bad luck, they did not anticipate a third loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Still, fate had other plans for the Golden State Warriors.
November 12 marked the first meet-up of these two teams, and the tension was very ripe in the air. Golden State Warriors already lost two back-to-back matches against Cavaliers and Nuggets. Therefore, NBA fans thought Chef and his boys would bring something new to the mix.
But things did not end up the way they should have, and the Golden State Warriors lost another match at the hands of the Timberwolves with a 116-110 scoreboard.
The Fight Before Succumbling
Even though it was a losing match, the Golden State Warriors managed to put up a fierce fight against the Timberwolves.
The first notable contributor to this game was Stephen ‘Chef’ Curry, who added around 38 points to the board. This provided the warriors with something to fight for.
But the true star of the show was none other than Anthony Edwards. Edwards managed to score 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.
The next player who followed suit was the birthday boy Karl-Anthony Town. Town added at least 21 points, along with 14 rebounds.
This win for the Timberwolves was really a landslide moment for the NBA. Timberwolves are on the best winnings streak of this season.
As of now, the Wolves have managed to defeat at least seven teams, including the Golden State Warriors. This made the fans absolutely happy with their performance and also improved their chances of making it to the finals.
But this is the time when a team needs to keep their head and continue to produce results instead of letting it get to your head.
