Letting Bryce walk over to the Panthers’ side is something that will come back to haunt the Bears. Earlier this season, Bryce was traded to the Panthers. And today, Bryce made sure that the decision comes back to haunt his former team.
In the 10th week of the NFL bonanza, the Bears took on the Panthers. But what sets the game apart is what Bryce did to his former team.
Young Vs. Bagent.
As the game progressed gradually, Bryce Young made sure that the Bears regretted letting Bryce go. In a phenomenal show of athleticism, Young absolutely outclassed the undrafted rookie of the Bears, Tyson Bagent.
Even though the Bears managed to snatch the victory from the hands of the Panthers, Bryce made sure that it was not an easy task to manage. At every junction, Bagent was shown ‘his place’ by Bryce Young.
In fact, Bears fans also agreed that Bagent failed to keep up with the former Bears QB. Even though the tension between the two QBs was palpable, both the QBs did not manage to score any touchdowns. This was certainly one of those rarer occasions.
However, the duo locked horns in all other aspects. While Young accounted for 21-38 for 185 yards, Bagent managed to secure 20-33 for 162 yards.
On top of that, Young also managed to rush for 18 yards with three carries. This was more than most other players on the field this Thursday.
But even after putting up a great fight, the Panthers still failed to secure a win and lost to the Bears with just 3 points. Still, fans of both sides were happy as the teams put up a great fight.
