November was a landslide month for 2023, Mr. Olympia. The month saw some of the best athletes in the bodybuilding community come together to showcase their physiques to the world. However, when all things were done, Derek Lunsford was crowned Mr Olympia, defeating the defending champion Hadi Choopan. However, fans were more eager to see how the fan-favorite Nigerian bodybuilder Samson Dauda would fare. And the Nigerian lion did not fail to impress.
Samson Dauda competed against some of the best bodybuilders of his generation in 2023, Mr Olympia. But despite his hard work and dedication, the 30-year-old managed to secure third place in the competition. A commendable result but not the ideal one. Maybe this is why the Nigerian Bodybuilder was seen competing at the Romania Muscle Fest Pro alongside two other Mr.Olympia contestants.
The Redemption
It has been a week since the biggest bodybuilding event ended, but the buzz has not died yet. The Romania Muscle Fest Pro managed to keep the hype alive by bringing some of the finest bodybuilders together. But the top three contestants include Behrooz Tabani, Nathan De Asha, and our beloved Samson Dauda.
After missing by an inch, De Asha and Tabani were hell-bent on proving their mettle at the Romanian bodybuilding competition. And maybe this is why Tabani and De Asha meant business when they stepped on the stage to compete. Everyone who followed the event closely claimed that the duo gave Dauda the run for his money. In fact, after the pre-judging, fans agreed that Dauda might not make it. Still, the Nigerian Lion managed to sail through and clinch a tough yet important victory in his career.
