Do you know that the month of September is the month of Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM)? Initially started by the American Gaming Association.
The primary focus of this program is to educate people on responsible wagering. It helps people to understand the need for a disciplined structure and boundary setting.
This year, it was PGA’s turn to educate people on responsible wagering, and this resulted in the announcement. But what about PGA board member Phil Mickelson?
Mickelson is one of the few athletes who openly agreed to the fact that he enjoyed gambling and indulged himself from time to time.
However, Mickelson strongly maintained the stance that Mickelson indulged himself responsibly and never went overboard.
But if you read his autobiographical book named Gambler: Secrets from a Life at Risk, he has openly agreed to have lost around 100 million dollars due to his gambling habit. Therefore, this gives mixed signals to the fans who look up to him.
