Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce shot his shot with Taylor Swift but missed his mark. In early July this year, Swift performed at the Arrowhead Stadium due to her Eras tour.
With a star-studded list of celebrities attending this event, this was a huge deal. Travis Kelce was amongst the audience as well.
Unlike most audiences in the show, Travis had an extra objective. He wanted to give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it. But sadly, Kelce did not get a moment with the singer to give her that band.
Kelce, in his popular podcast named ‘New Heights’ along with his brother Jason, recounted the whole deal and said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings.”
He then added, “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I had received a bunch of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift with my number on it.”
When Jason asked which number Travis meant, the latter replied with a grin, “You know which one.” Travis even went ahead to joke about this rejection and said, “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personally.”

So, like Jason, the fans are also wondering what could be the reason behind this rejection by Taylor Swift. Could this rejection be an ill-placed grudge between the two?
Last year Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. As a result, Swift could not be super fond of Travis Kelce, who played a huge role in the victory. But these are all speculations and fanfare surrounding the interaction; therefore should be taken with a grain of salt.
