Recently, Ring Magazine released its ranking for the top ten boxers of all time in the lightweight or 135 lbs category.
According to the list, David Haney is crowned the undisputed champion of the category, and he is soon followed by Vasyl Lomachenko, Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia, Issac Cruz, Shakur Stevenson, Frank Martin, George Kambosos Jr., William Zepeda, Maxi Hughes, and Keyshawn Davis.
Now, fans are certainly not pleased with the list and are questioning the ranks of Lomachenko, Davis, and Garcia. Additionally, fans took to social media to state their discontentment.
Here’s What Fans Had To Say:
Meanwhile, some believed that Gervonta Davis deserved to be above Lomachenko due to the more stellar performance of Davis.
A fan wrote, “Gervonta should be the next in line vs Haney. I’m treating it how the UFC does their rankings. Just my thoughts.“
Another fan took to Twitter to share a more detailed perspective on the list. He said, “I can’t see how Isaac Cruz or Ryan Garcia are above Kambosos at this point. Maybe because Cruz won his last 2 & Kambosos didn’t, but Ryan?”
Ryan Garcia’s spot on the list is something that is flicking fans off the most. Also, a fan wrote, “Great shout on Edwin, back-to-back great performances. Having Ryan Garcia and Maxi on this list is laughable.”
Everyone seems to have their own opinion about the list.
So we decided to present a more objective view of each boxer’s stat so that you can decide for yourself. Moreover, the list does not follow the ranking provided by Ring magazine.
