Something iffy is going on in the Washington Wizards camp, and this left Kevin Garnett emotional. Sources suggest that Garnett’s reaction is towards the newest addition to the team, Jordan Poole. If you have closely followed this season, you will understand that there is some tension which is why Poole is facing some struggles.
Poole is not your run-of-the-mill addition to the team. Poole managed to win the championship with his last team. However, the Big Ticket thinks that those accolades are irrelevant if the former is not bringing any new and positive energy to the camp.
The Big Truth
In this week’s edition of Ticket & the Truth, inevitably, Jordan Poole became the center of attention. Back in 2022, Poole helped the Golden State Warriors to win the championship. Subsequently, the Warriors traded Poole to Washington. And things seemed to have gone downhill from there onwards. In the 2023-24 season, Poole only managed to average around 16.6 points across 13 games, A truly lackluster Poole Party.
Fans even pointed out that Poole seemed to be lost and off his mark several times on the court this year. Things seemed so off that the famed Paul Pierce even claimed that he did not enjoy seeing Poole and his boys play anymore. But most bashing commentary came from the Big Ticket himself, when he blatantly said, ‘Some motherf****** are not built to be the man on the team.’ He further added that Poole has been nothing but a liability for Washington and that he ‘don’t belong in the team.’ A harsh but an honest commentary on the current situation.
And KG is not the only person who feels this. In fact, several other sports analysts are feeling the same and agree that Poole is tearing from the seams. Only time will tell how Poole will fare in the future.
