The newest star of the bodybuilding community, Anton Ratushnyi, just earned his pro card at the age of 19. With this, he managed to break the Australian Oak’s first-ever record. This record remained untouched for 57 years. Ratushnyi took to instagram to brag about his record-breaking achievement at the NPC Nationals 2023.
The 19-year-old just breezed past the Classis physique legend, Chris ‘Cbum’ Cumstead. While this young man still has a lot to do and prove, things look bright at the moment. Sources suggest that he became a local hero of sorts and is planning to pursue bodybuilding as his primary career.
Breaking A 57-year-old-record
Schwarzenegger started lifting at the age of 15. It took him five years and extensive hard work to win the Mr Universe title. However, Ratushnyi managed to do the impossible and get a pro card at the young age of 19. Therefore, he is the youngest bodybuilder who became an IFBB Classic Pro.
In a recent detailed post, Ratushnyi wrote, “With overcoming lots of adversity over the last year, I can’t stress enough how important it is to believe in yourself and stay true to yourself no matter what others think of you.” This shows the kind of hard work and the lonely road Ratushnyi had to travel in order to become one of the youngest ever IFBB classic pros.
Later on in the post, Anton wrote, “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS YOUR NEW YOUNGEST IFBB CLASSIC PRO, and the OVERALL CHAMPION AT NPC NATIONALS 2023”. A true champion who achieved what he sought to achieve.
