December 13 is the beginning of the four-day golfing bonanza. This day marks the opening of the Pro-Am round. Subsequently, 72 holes will be played. This enthralling golfing magnificence will be taking place in the Hеritagе La Résеrvе Golf Club, Mauritius.
The tournament will host a 156-player field. The event will be co-sponsored by the DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour. This event will feature some of the best top professionals playing for the prize money of $1,200,000.
But fans are just excited to see the lineup of athletes who are slated to go against each other in an attempt to bring the cup home. The very first prominent athlete is Louis Oosthuizen. He is the first major champion and has officially announced his participation.
The second athlete to take part is Antoine Rozner. Rozner secured a 2022 victory at the Mont Choisy Le Golf Course in the last season of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Opеn with a five-stroke lead. This marked the third win for Rozner’s career on the DP World Tour.
And the final hotshot is none other than Thomas Aiken. Aiken secured a 39th position at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, and he is all ready to participate in it. Even though he had a challenging year, he is set to make a phenomenal comeback.
