James Harden Wants To Leave the Philadelphia 79ers And Play For Los Angeles Clippers. Is It A Good Idea?
Still, the idea does not appeal to everyone present in the community in the same way. A former NBA Champion has other opinions about the swap. Former Boston Celtics’s Kendrick Perkins, in an interview with ESPN, said, “I don’t think James Harden is the answer.”
Perkins further added, “We’re talking about a Clippers team who we’ve been having high expectations for over what, the last 4-5 seasons? They can’t stay healthy. And then all of a sudden, you bring in Russell Westbrook …you bring in James Harden and then what? What is he actually going to do?” Therefore, trying actually to pinpoint the issue Clippers need to address.
Pekins also added, “ If James Harden is all about winning, then he stay(s) right where he’s at with Joel Embiid… and just won his MVP. Period.” Therefore, taking a hard pass with the idea of Harden being in the Clippers.
