As the group league matches are over, we have got our final four teams for the semi finals of IPL. We have Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni, Delhi Capitals led by Rishabh Pant, Royal Challengers Bangalore led by Virat Kohli, and Kolkata Knight Riders led by Eoin Morgan. Among these teams, DC and CSK will compete on Sunday for Qualifier 1 because whoever wins this match will go straight to the finals.

DC Vs. CSK-The Match Preview
Delhi Capitals is ranking at the top of the IPL leaderboard this year with 20 points. However, although DC wanted to head towards qualifier 1 with a win in their pocket, it did not happen according to the plan. In their last match against RCB, the men in blue scored 164 runs. However, RCB defeated them with 166 runs and won the game by 7 wickets. Thus, the DC squad did qualify for the semifinals, but now they need to keep their winning momentum intact to head for the finals.
The same thing happened for Chennai Super Kings as well. Although Captain Cool has made the team eligible for entering Qualifier 1 with 18 points, they did not win their last match. In CSK’s previous game against PBKS, the yellow squad lost by a very narrow margin. They scored 134 runs in 6 wickets, but PBKS scored 139 runs in 4 wickets and ended the match in 13 overs. So, CSK will also have to retain their pace before they play the game on Sunday.

Both CSK and DC have played against each other in 23 games in the history of the IPL. Among them, CSK won 15 matches, while DC won only 8. CSK also won the IPL thrice in 2010, 2011, and 2018. However, DC has not lifted the IPL trophy in all these years, but they are the highest scorers this season. Therefore, we think both teams have a fair chance to win the first Qualifier.
