The 30th match of the IPL 2021 session will commence on 19th September 2021. Upon resuming, the first match will have a clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. It will begin at 7:30 P.M IST and take place in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, UAE.
CSK vs. MI- What Are The Predictions?
Both CSK and MI are potential candidates to take this year’s IPL title home. After giving a poor performance in 2020, CSK completely changed the way they played. They are again hoping to display the same fantastic form that they did in the first phase of this year’s IPL. They will show a fierce batting style, and we are excited to see some of the best shots of the year from Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali.

MI has gotten most of the IPL winner titles so far, so their expectations always stay at their peak. But MI fans also know how slowly they start the season. Rohit Sharma’s team is in the top 4 teams this year, but if they start slow, they won’t cope. They only have seven more matches to play, so MI better buckle up this time from the start.
We are not hoping that any of the teams will score something huge this year. Part of that prediction lies in the hot weather of UAE, and part of it also depends on the magnificent size of the Dubai International Cricket stadium.
Key Players To Watch
In CSK, Ruturaj Gaikwad has 196 runs in this IPL season, and we have seen the batsman scoring big in the first innings compared to the second innings. Given that, we can expect him to show an extraordinary feat in the upcoming game.
South African gem Faf du Plessis has the third most runs in this tournament. His overall score vs. MI has been 365 runs, so this beast will surely bring a threat to the Rohit-Sharma-led team.
Moeen Ali’s love for batting has kept him in the top four of T20, and his inclination towards batting first will be a crucial advantage for CSK in tomorrow’s game.
However, the stats look fine for Mumbai Indians as well. The captain, Rohit Sharma, has the most runs against CSK. But, in the IPL innings so far, he has scored only 138 runs. So, we hope with that solid record in the past, he improves his game a bit and comes back with a surprise.
The Trinidadian star cricketer Kieron Pollard has some serious fancy when it comes to beating CSK. He has the second-most run record against MI, but his runs also have an impressive strike rate. So, we hope Pollard will show us some good moves in tomorrow’s match.
Ishan Kishan was the highest scorer of IPL 2020. He scored 537 runs in a slam of 20 innings, and we know how hard that record will be to beat.
Closing Thoughts
When we said predictions of the match, we did not say that we’d reveal who would win. Now, we can’t tell you that because we don’t know, and it’s even harder to predict the victory since both the teams are so well-equipped. So, let’s brace ourselves for tomorrow’s match and support our favorite teams.
