The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will roar once again today for its 33rd match when Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will clash against each other. It is the second phase of the VIVO IPL 2021, and DC and SRH will also confront one another for the second time today. Let’s see the leaderboard rankings of these two teams so far and how they will perform today.
SRH Vs. DC- The Match Preview
SRH is struggling with six losses out of their seven games so far, while DC has managed to win six of their eight games. So, it is a competition between the last team on the leaderboard and the second-ranking squad of this year’s IPL.
The last time we saw DC playing in the IPL was against the Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad. Rishabh Pant led the capitals to victory, and they won the game by seven wickets. DC finished the match in the 18th over while PBKS scored a striking 166 runs. Thus, the blue army managed to secure the 6th win of this season’s IPL in their favor.
But, things did not turn well for the orange army because last we saw them playing against Rajasthan Royals and losing it. RR put up quite a high target of 220 runs on the scoreboard, and unfortunately, SRH could only manage to secure 165 runs. So, they lost by 55 runs, and it was their 3rd loss consecutively in IPL 2021.
If we talk about the opponents of today’s match, both SRH and DC have clashed against each other 19 times in the history of IPL. But, surprisingly, the Kane Williamson-led team won 11 of these games, and DC only won 8 matches. But, the last time this duo played against each other, stars were in favor of DC. But, it was not an easy win because the Rishabh Pant-led team defeated SRH in super overs.

Key Players To Look Forward To
Shikhar Dhawan: Shikhar Dhawan is the opener of DC, and he is the best bet among this season’s run-getters. He has an astounding score of 380 runs so far in 8 innings.
David Warner: David Warner is the best left-handed batsman of SRH, and he is also the match’s opener. With an exponential score of 193 runs in this season so far, the entire team’s hope is pretty much stuck on him.
Kagiso Rabada: Kagiso Rabada is one example who can play both hands pretty well. This left-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler of DC has grabbed eight wickets in this season.
Rashid Khan: Rashid Khan is not only a right-handed batsman of SRH, but he is also the leg-break bowler of this team. This trump card may not have scored many runs this season but has grabbed ten wickets so far.
Rishabh Pant: Rishabh Pant is the best wicket-keeper of DC, who also is the captain of the team. He has an impressive record of 280 runs in this season’s IPL.
Kane Williamson: Kane Williamson, on the other hand, is the captain of SRH. He is also a pretty good batsman himself and has a record of 118 runs in this year’s IPL.
What We Think
We think DC has a better chance of winning this match, and we predict it based on their previous wins and this season’s lineup. But, the lineup of SRH is not so bad itself, so we can’t draw a fixed conclusion of which team will win today’s match. The pitch of this stadium is known to be friendly for high scores so that the pacers will get an advantage today. Let’s hope the best team wins.
