As we have covered extensively in our portal, Aaron Rodgers faced a season-ending injury at the very first game of the 2023 NFL Season.
After posting an inspirational message on instagram assuring that he will ‘rise again,’ Rodgers is taking baby steps back to the gridiron. And one of the first steps was the surgery.
Post-operation, Rodgers shared a positive update on the injury on his instagram stories, saying, “Surgery went great yesterday. Thank you for all the love and prayers and support. And thanks to the *insert goat emoji* Dr ElAttrache and his staff for starting me on to the road to recovery.”
Therefore, the news came as a soothing waft of breeze for Jets fans.
Ever since Rodgers announced his move to the New York Jets, fans have been absolutely ecstatic. They thought maybe A-Rod was the answer to their prayer. In fact, for a second, things seemed that way. Rodgers has one of the best and most consistent statistics among all the older NFL athletes.
Subsequently, Rodgers has been one of the most consistent players to produce results. All in all, he seemed like the salvation.
Blindsided
With the injury that blindsided Aaron, things do look gleam. However, things finally seem a little under control after the surgery. In the instagram post, Aaron was seen thanking Dr. Neal ElAttrache and his team.
Dr. Neal has been one of the prominent names that dominated the sports industry for a while now. In fact, Rodgers and Neal go long back because this is not the first time Rodgers has had to seek the good doctor’s help.
But now, when things finally look good for the team, it is time for Rodgers to take some time to work on his health. Rodgers will be turning 40 this year, and therefore, a comeback is never an easy task to pull through at this age. Still, Aaron is not giving up.
