Sophia Dembling once said, “Extroverts sparkle, introverts glow. Extroverts are fireworks, introverts are a fire in the heart.” And Nothing truer has been said about introverts. The words perfectly encapsulate what it means to be an introverted person in a loud and noisy world, what it means to be a quiet stream in the world of raging rivers.
Messi is one of those quiet streams. We have seen the Argentine football star living the best life. Driving expensive cars, vacationing in exotic locations, receiving love from fans globally, etc. But what about those downtimes?
We all know Messi, the football star, but most of us never really tried seeing him or exploring the life he has beyond the extravagance. Now, everybody knows that Messi hates making public speeches. This is why we would rarely see the boy from Rosario make any public speeches.
The Man Beyond The Extravagance
He might seem like the chillest person in the room, but he is definitely a strict person when it comes to being a father. In many interviews, Messi was seen confessing that he likes to follow a strict dining rule and that he is not willing to compromise. Messi said, “Breakfast… everyone in their place, always sit in the same place, everyone has their place at the table, the kids, Antonela, me.”
Another pet peeve that Messi has is that he hates shoes. For a person who makes a living by playing football, this is one of the weirdest things about Messi. However, sources have confirmed that Messi just hates wearing shoes when he is at home. In fact, he would rather go barefoot instead of wearing shoes or sandals.
