The Week 9 of the Monday Night Football game between two of the NFL’s giants, LA Chargers and NY Jets, has been an absolute bash. The scoreboard reflected what Chargers fans have been anticipating. But the Jets did not realize that they might lose the match with such a huge margin.
The 27-6 scoreboard is something that the Jets did not anticipate. Still, the match was not all bad. There was some ray of sunshine for the Jets.
To kick off the night, a video was shared where we could see the 39-year-old injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers walking his way to the Jets locker room unaided. Earlier this season, Rodgers was seen walking into the locker room unaided by a crutch or a cart.
The Slim Glimmer Of Hope:
This certainly came as a ray of sunshine for the fans as they are in desperate need of the charismatic leadership of A-Rod. The team has had the longest spell of poor luck, and things are getting to everyone.
It has been at least five decades since the team won any Superbowl. The last time the team won at the Superbowl was back in 1969. And when they traded A-Rod in, people thought that things might change.
But the ACL injury of the athlete was like a wrench in the wheelwork. Therefore, it is very important for fans to see A-Rod returning with renewed vigor. And to see him walking unaided into the Jets locker room is certainly a treat for the sore eyes.
