LA Chargers’ safety Alohi Gilman is again sitting a game out due to a heel injury. This was the second game that he missed due to a heel injury that was sustained during practice. The news was broken to the fans just minutes before the natch. Gilman was placed on the inactive player list just 90 minutes before the start of the game.
In an attempt to replace Gilman, the Chargers will try to bring names like Deane Marlowe or Raheem Layne. But this is not the first time when a player from the Chargers had to sit out a game due to an injury. Earlier, it was safety Derwin James who was sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Joey Bosa had to sit out due to a hamstring as well as toe injury. Therefore, Chargers are used to such things.
The Inactive Assets
Currently, the Chargers’ assets include safety Juanyeh Thomas, quarterback Trey Lance, Cornerbacks Eric Scott and Noah Igbinoghene, Running back Deuce Vaugh, Offensive tackle Asim Richards, and finally, defensive lineman Vilami Fehoko who is inactive. This can be a big blow to the team’s overall performance and lineup. Still, the Chargers are keeping up their momentum and plan on being one of the finest this season.
