Being a mother is one of the most empowering things for a woman. And Lindsey Weaver-Wright showed just that. Even after being seven months pregnant, Lindsey did not sit out the Ascendant Championship this week.
In fact, she not only took part in the event but managed to perform quite well, given her condition. She even managed to induct herself in the top 20. That is a feat that is hard to match.
Already, she is considered by the internet as the ‘cool mom,’ but one specific shot from her is making rounds of the internet and has left fans in awe. Weaver executed the shot perfectly and with great form. The shot was taken from a distance. Therefore, Weaver shot her shot hard and high.
Subsequently, the ball landed close to the hole. Eventually, the ball managed to wriggle its way to the hole, making it one of the most beautiful shots in recent golfing history.
Fans Turning Women Against Women
The 30-year-old golfer is currently seven months pregnant, and this was her final tournament before she went on maternity leave.
Therefore, the caption of the viral video read, “That’s one way to start maternity leave early! @lindseyweaver_ holes out on the final hole of her final tournament of the season at 7 months pregnant!”
While some fans were lauding Weaver for her amazing eagle shot and her decision to go through the match at seven months pregnant, some of the fans took to the internet to rain hate and disappointment on Jessica Korda.
Jessica Korda joined Rickie Fowler for the Grand Thornton Invitational, a PGA and LPGA event.
But Korda withdrew from this event, citing her pregnancy as the reason. This left fans disappointed, and now they are not leaving an opportunity to pass judgment on Jessica Korda.
