After turning heads at the Laver Cup and leading his team to victory, this young American tennis sensation now finds himself in a very sticky situation.
While the team was enjoying their victory, Taylor Fritz’s influencer girlfriend, Margon Riddle, was going around interviewing the athletes. Meanwhile, she came across Ben Shelton, and this led to a surprising reveal about the young man’s habits.

In a video shared by the influencer, the 20-year-old tennis sensation Ben Shelton shared a glass of champagne with his teammates. This led the 25-year-old influencer to ask the young man if he was of the legal age to drink.
To this, Ben sarcastically replied, “In Canada.” This all seemed like harmless fun, but the internet police were not at all happy.
As soon as the video was posted, it blew up. Every tennis fan took to the internet to congratulate the team. Meanwhile, some were just there to lambast the young player and chastise him for his ‘questionable’ behavior.
In fact, one user also claimed that Ben Shelton must be mindful of the role model he wants to become. But we believe in the ‘let the kid have some fun’ notion. So, congratulations, Ben, you deserved the drink.
