After she married Gerar Pique, which ended sourly, she went on to date F1 sensation Lewis Hamilton for a brief period of time before having an intimate relationship with NBA superstar Jimmy Butler.
However, due to a recent turn of events, the singer found herself back to square one.

Allegedly, Shakira has been dealing with two counts of tax fraud back in 2018. These two amount to a hefty sum of around $16.2 million.
In response to this legal notice, Shakira’s PR team has released an official press release. The release stated: “As has been stated on numerous occasions, Shakira defends having always acted in compliance with the law and under the guidance of the best tax experts. Now she is focused on her artistic life in Miami and is calm and confident in a favorable resolution to her tax affairs.“
After news of the relationship between Shakira and Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler broke out, things seemed happy for a while.
Shakira even went ahead and confirmed the news of their intimate relationship. However, things seem bleak for the superstar due to this recent legal fiasco.
Not only the tax fraud case, but Shakira has had to go through a lengthy legal battle with her husband, Gerard Pique, for the custody of her children Sasha and Milan. Therefore, time has not been on her side lately.
