If you are a Colts fan, you probably want to forget the 2022 NFL season, right? With just four wins across 17 games, the Colts did not enjoy a good run in the year 2022.
Everyone who had some love for the team hoped and prayed for a better season this year. And things do seem to finally work out. As of now, the Colts have won 2 matches from the total of three pre-season matches they played, and Anthony Richardson is the person to thank.
Anthony Richardson signed a four-year contract at the very beginning of this year’s preseason. Since then, he has not wasted a single minute.
The preseason finale of this season of the NFL is a testament to that dedication toward his team. As a result, fans and critics are awaiting a phenomenal 2023 NFL season.
One Loss And Two Wins:
However, things did not seem optimal for the team, as the Colts lost their first preseason game. But, the concerns of fans were allayed with the team’s phenomenal performance in the second game and the pre-season finale.
In both matches, the team showed a newer avatar to their fans by bringing whole new strategies and ball games to the table.
After capping a 52-yard Rushing TD in order to bg six points and equalize the scoreboard, the athlete was seen celebrating the touchdown with a flying gesture. This was probably a sly dig at the Philadelphia Eagles.
The celebration and the game that Richardson pulled boosted the morale of the Colts majorly. The fans are lauding officials for rightly acquiring Richardson, as he is bringing something new to the team. Therefore, the Colts might have a better shot at the title this year than they had last year.
