The UFC is heading to Austin, Texas. The tournament is coming to Austin for a night of fighting at the Moody Center. The fight is set to feature two of the best lightweight contenders, Arman Tsarukyan and Beneli Dariush.
This fight is going to be one of the redeeming fights for Dariush. In his last fight, Dariush got knocked out cold by Charles Oliveira in the very first round. Therefore, he will put all of his chips in on the fight with Arman Tsarukayn. This will determine his position in the title contention.
Tsarukyan & Dariush
Meanwhile, Tsarukyan is riding high on back-to-back wins in his last seven fights. Hence, he certainly would be fighting hard to retain this streak. Therefore, we have two fighters, one who has nothing to lose and one who has everything to lose. This will certainly result in a whole new dynamic to the fight.
According to sources, Tsarukyan will be really aiming toward taking down Beneli Dariush as that will give him a clear shot at a rematch against Islam Makhachev. This will ensure a better roster for Tsarukyan.
Arman has not been in the UFC for a long time now. He made his debut in the UFC back in 2019, before which he was lighting up the Russian regional fighting scene. However, by winning seven fights in a row has certainly established him as one of the biggest contenders. In fact, he is already estimated to be worth 1 million dollars. Arman Tsarukyan’s current stat is 20-3. Out of those, he won 8 fights with knockouts.
