Following Tony Stewart’s footsteps, Kyle Larson is now aiming to compete in two of the toughest races on this planet. And the toughest part is that these two races will be taking place on the same day. These races include the prestigious Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600. This has been Larson’s dream for some time now. As a result, Larson’s team just fulfilled his wishes. Trackhouse Racing just released a statement announcing their partnership with the famous Arrow McLaren in 2024, and this will facilitate Larson to nail a ‘Double’.
Following the Trackhouse’s entry into the foray of Bike Racing, co-owner Justin Marks has been eyeing to fulfill his aspiration for his team to ace a ‘Double.’ And this can only be possible if Larson is the man behind the wheels. Hence, Marks will be putting all his moolah on Larson.
The Expansion
Marks is currently in a mood to expand his business. As a result, the Trackhouse Racing chief spent a huge deal of money to enter the Moto GP circuit. However, this expansion spree is not over yet and believes that achieving this double would be key for the racing company. Honestly speaking, this will be a huge gamble for the NASCAR team. But the rewards are higher than the risks.
While talking to the press, Justin Marks made his intentions clear. He said, “If we go to the Indy 500, the only way we do it is if we do it as a Double with one of our [@NASCAR] Cup drivers. We’re not going to do it just to do it.” This was a clear nod towards Larson. Therefore, the NASCAR community is eagerly waiting for this instance to come true.
