Beefs are the most common and consistent things you will see in the UFC. And the most hyped-up beef of all time, Ian Garry and Sean Strickland, is far from over. In fact, one can say that a new chapter is unfolding. In a recent turn of events, Ian Garry just dropped a new video warning Sean Strickland.
The infamous beef between the two started when Sean Strickland crossed a line and made a comment about Ian Garry’s partner. This did not land well with the young fighter. Soon enough, Strickland was served a threat to take legal action.
Some Lines Should Not Be Crossed.
Sean Strickland quite publicly called Ian Garry’s partner a ‘succubus.’ This did not sit well with the young fighter at all, and he issued a direct threat to Strickland. At first, people thought there would be some legal action that would ensue the comment.
Ian Garry even sent Strickland a DM urging him to take the post down. But that obviously did not work. Sources suggest that the reigning champion outrightly refused to take the video down. In fact, in a true Strickland fashion, he just fueled the fires in the heart of Ian Garry.
Ad this has resulted in Ian Garry issuing an open challenge to the champion. In a recent video, Ian Garry issued an open threat saying, “The more people talk, the harder I work… I’ve got more people to prove wrong. It’s not fueling me. It’s p*ssing me off. Now we’ve got, I might have to win a middleweight world title before I win the welterweight.”
