Fans of the NBA have been eagerly waiting for Ja Morant to come back to the Memphis Grizzlies. However, one person who was most eager was none other than Morant’s mother. She really wanted to see her son make his return to the hardwood floor. And the prayers seemed to have been answered.
Ja Morant just played one of the finest games of his career. Moments after tearing up the court, Ja went on to reveal the discussion he had with his mother. This chat revealed that the young baller was looking forward to making his return more than anything.
The Return.
The Grizzlies just took on the New Orleans Pelicans in a close and exhilarating game. And Morant was the guy everyone was looking out for. Even though many doubted Morant’s ability to get back into the foray of basketball, the All-star seemed to be unfazed.
In fact, in his brisk conversation with his mother, it was revealed that Morant was actually ready for it. He even texted, “Tell ‘em I’m coming ma.” Morant posted the screenshot of this conversation on his instagram stories after his return.
If we have to go by the whole conversation and his returning game, we can safely say that Ja Morant is more than ready to be back. This could prove to be a new set of opportunities for the All-Star after a controversial last year. Hence, we need to wait and watch what the future holds for Morant and his career.
