Chris ‘CBum’ Bumstead is one of the most prominent athletes in the bodybuilding community. In the last few years, CBum has proven himself to be an absolute legend.
His beefy yet defined physique has made him all the rage in the bodybuilding community. We could see his fans comparing the bodybuilder to the Austrian Oak himself.
Till now, CBum has won four Mr.Olympia titles in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. As he is gearing up for another year, CBum is currently trying to stay under the spotlight more. Like featuring on podcasts, fitness challenges, and even giving interviews.
In one such interview with RAW Nutrition, this 28-year-old bodybuilder candidly spoke about his likes and vices.
CBum And How He Would Have Quited The Sport:
CBum has always maintained his stance that bodybuilding is a mere part of his life and not the whole life itself. In fact, he was repeatedly saying in several interviews that he would eventually quit the sport when the time was right.
In fact, the CBum is not one of those celebrities who put on an act whenever out in public. He would rather be authentic to his fans than anything else. This made him all the more relatable.
While discussing the former party life of the 28-year-old bodybuilder, a fellow guest said, “Chris can’t even f*****g take a Zen without throwing up.”
Therefore initiating a conversation where CBum was candid about his boozing and party habits.
The athlete did not shy away and revealed his party animal side and said, “I partied a lot. I got…Matt can tell when I was with MHP he wouldn’t be able to talk to me because I was like blackout drunk three times a week.” However, CBum has transformed himself since then and is currently on a sober streak.
Chris has repeatedly confessed that he is right now a teetotaler and that he has abstained from drinking. Therefore, it shows the dedication the bodybuilder has for his craft.
