Robert Lewandowski: The World-Class Striker
Robert Lewandowski was born in Warsaw, and later he was brought up in Leszno, where he started to play for a local club named Partyzant Leszo as an unregistered player. Early Career
At the age of 17, Delta Warsaw, a 4th-tier team, signed him, and he was able to score four goals in that season. Later he was taken by another side, and in the 2006-07 season, Lewandowski played in the Polish third division, where he scored 15 goals and was the top goal scorer. He spent the next year in the second-highest division of Poland, where he scored 21 goals and became the top scorer for consecutive years in separate leagues.
Lech Poznan
In 2008, Lewandowski was brought by Lech Poznan with a transfer fee of 1.5 million PLN. At that time, Lewandowski’s agent tried to put him in Sporting Gijon, which was promoted to La Liga. Borussia Dortmund
