Legendary Brazilian footballer, Pele, passed away at the age of 82. The football magician breathed his last in Sao Paulo on Thursday after a long battle with cancer.
The legendary footballer had been in and out of the hospital after a tumour was discovered inside his colon. The king of football, also named Edson Arantes do Nascimento, is the only player to win three world cups for his country (1958, 1962 and 1970). He also scored 1281 goals in his football career and 12 World Cup goals.
Pele was a winner of trophies and hearts as a footballer. His winning smile and personality made many celebrities, presidents and fans endear him. The world is mourning the passing away of the magician of a footballer.
