McGregor might be currently going through a hiatus. But if you think about it. He is still one of the biggest money-makers in the industry. He is known to spend exorbitant amounts of money on properties, cars, and other luxuries.
But last year only, his fiancee Dee Devlin managed to accumulate around millions in debt. This put the celebrity in a tight spot.
But that necessarily did not stop McGregor from buying some more properties with exorbitant amounts in the most exclusive parts of Dublin.
The Hiatus And The Money:
This month marks approximately 24 months since McGregor stepped into the ring for a fight after a grisly leg injury sustained at the UFC 264.
In the meantime, McGregor kept himself busy with other engagements outside the ring. And now, he has a property in sight, which he wants to add to his list of houses.
Since 2021, McGregor’s primary source of revenue was from the sale of his Proper 21 whiskey. In the same year, McGregor became the richest athlete in the world, according to Forbes.
Subsequently, he decided to buy properties and even set up a pub called the Black Forged Inn in the heart of Dublin. And right now, McGregor is on the rise to become the brightest face in the fighting world.
Then what led Dee Devlin into a debt of €35.83 million? Fans have speculated that this debt was a result of a business engagement with Universal Pictures at the time. But Notorious is currently not stressing about the debt and seems quite chill about it.
