6 GOALS!!! I mean, it is not only fantastic to see Manchester City having such a great start, but when Nathan Ake hit it from the low back position, it was a WOW moment. Jack Grealish used his attacking midfielder techniques and also did an excellent job to score the goals. The way they dominated the entire game and won against RB Leipzig was a historic moment for the team.
Manchester City Claims Fastest 50 In Their Names
Manchester City is the only English football team to claim the fastest 50 wins in their name. They achieved this astonishing score by contributing their sweat and blood in 91 matches. While Real Madrid did it in 88 games, it took the Sky Blues 3 more rounds to reach this score.

Although Man City could not break Real Madrid’s record in 2003, City defeated Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris-Saint Germain, Chelsea, Juventus, and many other clubs. Both RB Leipzig and Manchester City are clubs of Group A in the UEFA Champions League. They also have Club Brugge and PSG alongside them.
Highlights Of The Match
With just 16 minutes in the match, we saw Nathan Ake scoring a goal and give Man City the lead they needed. No more minutes passed by, and we again saw another goal for the Sky Blues. This time, it was an own goal scored by Nordi Mukiele, and that showed how many stars were in favor of Man City that day.
But, RB Leipzig did not take much time to close this lead. Christopher Nkunku scored the first one of his three goals at 42 minutes into the game. But, unfortunately, Riyad Mahrez managed to score the penalty before halftime, so it was a 3-1 situation by then.
The second half of the game changed the scenario a bit for RB Leipzig. Nkunku once again came to the rescue and scored a second goal with a powerful headshot. However, Jack Grealish managed to maintain the lead with a fine goal from his end. It was a nice shot from the debut player in the 56th minute that restored Man City’s confidence.
But, the Germans were not just about to sit back and let City win the match. They counterattacked, and we saw a hattrick from Nkunku, a significant highlight of the game. However, the happiness did not last long enough because, after 82 seconds on the clock, Joao Cancelo scored another goal. The score became 5-3.
With only 11 minutes left in the game, when we all thought Leipzig had lost it, Man City players added fuel to the flame. Gabriel Jesus came to the far post and scored the last goal for the English football team in the 85th minute.
Conclusion
This significant victory put Manchester city at the top of the group A Clubs. We are indeed proud of the team that scored the fastest 50 wins in 91 matches. Though the record set by Real Madrid remains undefeated till now, we never know what twist the game will take. We hope RB Leipzig overcomes this loss, and Man City continues to give such amazing feats.
