Ever since Ronaldo walked in, Al Nassr has been on a row. That made fans question whether the team won because of their skill or if it was the Ronaldo mania doing the trick. But the recent Al Nassr victory that manifested due to Anderson Talisca’s hattrick allayed those doubts.
Due to some logistical concerns regarding Ronaldo’s health, he was not given the green signal to go ahead and board the flight. As a result, Ronaldo had to spend his time in Riyadh. For the time being, the Portuguese star sent a heartfelt message to his fans, teams, and his friend Marcelo.
What It Means To Be A Team
Unlike Ronaldo, the current Al Nassr captain did not post anything regarding the team’s win.
However, the absolute silence from the captain is actually making people nervous as they are speculating about trying time ahead. Some are speculating that the situation might not be all right in the Al Nassr camp.
It has been around five years since Ronaldo parted ways with the Los Blancos or Real Madrid. In that journey, Ronaldo left so many memories, friendships, and others. But one thing he did not leave was the love for his brothers in arms.
And the recent post was reminiscent of the similar love and affection that Ronaldo has for Marcelo. A recent post from the football wiz congratulated Marcelo on his Copa Libertadores win.
Some Love Lost?
In a different part of the world, when the press asked Luis Castro about benching Ronaldo, Castro couldn’t stop fuming. The manager snapped back at the press, saying, ‘I understand that people like to see Cristiano, but the Al Nassr isn’t just Cristiano.’
However, the man went on to clarify his statement. And he said, ‘It wasn’t Luís Castro who decided that the player wouldn’t play, he’s not fit enough to play.’
