DC Vs. CSK- The Match Preview
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will probably witness the most challenging match of IPL 2021 this year because both DC and CSK are fighting for the top two ranks. In their last match against MI, DC managed to win it with 4 wickets left. The game was running under challenging conditions, but Shreyas Iyer played beautifully, which handed DC their victory. CSK, although ranking at the top of the leaderboard, has struggled in this season’s IPL quite a few times. In their last match against RR, the yellow squad lost by 7 wickets. The entire team is looking forward to Ruturaj Gaikwad as he will be shining with his batting skills in today’s match. It will be essential for them to win it to remain at the top of the table.
If we check the history, DC and CSK have played 23 times against each other in all the IPL seasons. CSK won 15 of those matches, while DC won the remaining 8 games. But, given this season’s statistics, DC’s consistent performance may get them the victory today. However, if CSK comes back to their original form, they also have a fair chance of winning.

Key Players To Look Forward To
Ruturaj Gaikwad: Ruturaj Gaikwad is the 4th batsman to score a century in this year’s IPL. He hit a 6 over the mid-wicket against RR. He also surpassed the running streak of 500 in IPL 2021. So, he is one of the most prized batsmen of CSK.
Shreyas Iyer: Shreyas Iyer scored 33 runs in DC’s last match against MI and handed his team the victory they longed for. The pitch of that match was bowling-friendly, but Iyer stood firm on his batting position even when too many wickets were constantly falling at the other end.
Ravindra Jadeja: Although CSK did not win their last match against RR, Jadeja’s bowling w3as exceptional, especially at the latter half of the innings. With 211 runs and 8 wickets in his name, Jadeja is genuinely one of the most remarkable players in IPL 2021.
Axar Patel: In DC’S last match against MI, Patel became the man of the match for his exceptional bowling performance. He took all the main wickets of the opponent team and made the score 3/21 at the end.
Sharad Thakur: Sharad Thakur is the primary wicket-taking bowler of the CSK squad. He has managed to take 13 wickets in 12 matches, which is a worthy performance to look forward to.
Avesh Khan: Avesh Khan is also a leading wicket-taker of this season’s IPL. With 21 wickets in 12 matches and having the best score of 3/13, it is understandable why he is such a prized possession of the DC squad.
What We Think
We think there is a good chance that DC will win today’s match, but nothing can be said indeed because captain cool may have a remarkable comeback too. The pitch will be batting-friendly for the initial overs, so it’s better to score as many runs as possible in the first innings. We hope the best team wins.
