India Vs. England’s 5th test match now is in question! Another team member from India also supported the staff’s covid positive test. This is a great decision but for cricket lovers, the news can be really heart-breaking.
As coronavirus spread has started increasing again in India, that is why they are aware of the player’s health as well as for the staff.
The test was about to be held in Manchester but in this situation, they are in great doubt. This has come to a day where Ravi Sastri, Bharat Arun, and R Shridrar were forced to stay in quarantine in England. For this, they have missed the 4th test match that was held.
However, most of the players are still not tested positive. Probably the team wants to give them rest from the match and also wants to mark other staff safe from Covid-19. For this case, team India is looking for safety as they don’t want to get other players in danger.
Schedule Of The Test Match
In the 4th match of India Vs. England now India is leading 2-1. But time is crucial and probably for that, the match can be postponed. The BCCI president is in tension for the 5th test match. He has quotes,
“The results of the RT-PCR tests are expected later in the day depending on which the fate of the game will be decided”
For the time, health is the major factor that the whole team is providing stress.
Before this time, the staff and the players were free to visit nearby places. But now, they will not be able to visit everywhere freely.
The BCCI is negotiating for the 5th test match and ECB for the 5th test match. Though they don’t know what will genuinely take place. It may be shifted to next year. If it really takes place then probably the spirit for the match can be decreased from both the teams. At this time, it is hard to tell about the incident that is not sure.
The whole team is subjected to the RT-PCR covid test. However, there is a huge chance the match will be postponed. It’s not a problem, in October the T20 world cup is going to start.
You have patience for that. There are many chances to be the winner of the matches. We hope in the next few days, India will provide its best effort.
