Anaheim Ducks left winger Frank Vatrano became the first ever player this season to record at least two hattricks in a single match. This East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, resident accomplished this near-impossible feat at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Vatrano The New King
Across the eight games played by Vatrano this season, he managed to clock in eight wins and at least one assist for nine points.
He also has a +7 with approximately 18 penalty minutes, five takeaways, 12 blocked shots, one faceoff win, 29 shots on goal, one game-winning goal, one shorthanded point, and two powerplay points. The recent hat trick will only add to his amazing stat this season.
In a cinema-like manner, Vatrano managed to score a goal in every period. By the time it was 15:20, Vatrano had managed to put the Ducks up at 2-0. By the time it was 6:58, he had put up Ducks at 6:58.
And in the third period, Vatrano scored a shorthanded marker at 11:12 and subsequently put up the Ducks at the 7-3 mark.
This season is a great season for Vatrano, as he managed to score more than one hat trick. Vatrano’s first hat trick was on October 15th. The Ducks managed to take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
This upset a lot of NHL fans as they all saw the Hurricanes as the primary contender this season. But on the other hand, it announced to the NHL community that Vatrano has arrived, and he means business.
