Coach Deon ‘Prime Time’ Sanders is all set to make some major changes to the Colorado Buffaloes roster. This decision came in the wake of a gloomy 4-8 record. Prime is bringing his #1 recruit of the 2024 class, OT Jordan Season. But at the same time, he has expressed his concern for his son QB Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders is aware that his son ended his last season on a not-so-nice page. And therefore he is looking to safeguard as well as make some changes to the team. In a recent interview, sanders revealed some explosive news. Sanders revealed, “We gotta run the football and we gotta stop the run.” He further added, “But that’s my son. So I gotta do what I gotta do to make sure he’s straight. So I made some moves to try to assure him a better protection.“
52 Times Sacked
In the last season, Shedeur Sanders was sacked a total of 52 times. This was due to her injury. His last injury also made him miss Buff’s last game. Therefore, it is understandable why Sanders is concerned for his son. With Seaton’s induction into the team, it is believed that Sanders might get the much-needed cover.
The same interview also elaborated on how Shedeur is currently in the recovery phase and is probably making his return to the field in the 2024 season. But Prime wants to bring some old blood to the team as he believes they will be able to support his team and his son. In an interview, he said, “Right now, we’re looking for older quarterbacks, because we plan on winning.
So if something were to happen to Shedeur, they could step right in and make it happen. That’s what we’re looking for. We’ve already mapped out what we need in each position way before the season concluded. So we already knew and know what we’re looking for. So we’re right on pace to go find what we’re looking for, and we know where it is.“So, the 2024 season will be a great season for Prime and his son.
