WWE is not just a TV show. For most of us, especially for the people born in the ‘90s, the show represents childhood and happier times.
Therefore, I will be more than happy to let you in on my expertise and introduce you to the wrestlers who I believe are the best wrestlers of all time
Hall Of Fame: WWE
WWE is one of the oldest forms of sports that I personally follow. I still remember being absolutely enthralled by the antics of my favorite wrestler and would believe whatever happened in the ring.
I still remember how sad I was when I learned that Undertaker ‘died.’ Or feel devastated when my favorite wrestler would lose against my least favorite.
So today, I want to celebrate those feelings and emotions attached to the sport and talk about some of the best wrestlers of all time in order to determine who is the greatest wrestler of all time.
So keep your popcorn close to look at some of the top WWE wrestlers. But before we start analyzing some of the greatest wrestlers of all time, we just want to clarify the categories that they will be judged upon.
In general, the following categories include career, look, and in-ring presence. So, keeping these things in mind, we are ready to see how some of the greatest wrestlers of all time compare to one another.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Career:
Stone Cold Steve Austin was a household name during the height of his career. Steve Austin was one of the first-ever WWE or WWF wrestlers who was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Look:
Unlike most other wrestlers at the time, Steve Austin was not the person with the zaniest hair or outfit. In fact, now that you look back, his in-ring look did not deviate too much from how he dressed up or looked in real life.
The beer-chugging bald-headed redneck appeal was the perfect path to go down for Steve Austin. This is because it gave him the opportunity to add realism to his character.
In-Ring Presence:
Steve Austin not only claimed that he was the ‘toughest S.O.B,’ he was the ‘toughest S.O.B.’
The reality with which he approached his fight made him look more like a well-acted character on a movie screen.
This went great with the wrestler’s image and style. This made him one of the best WWE wrestlers of the Attitude Era.
The Undertaker
Career:
I still cannot remember the amount of time The Undertaker rose from the ‘dead’ during his career. For two decades straight, Undertaker was the top talent.
He is easily one of the best wrestlers of all time, spanning three WWE eras . He was the man who dominated during the ‘90s, the Attitude era, and even the PG era.
Look:
While he certainly was not flashy by means whatsoever, but he certainly had one of the most iconic looks. I personally loved the trenchcoat, the hat, and the whole gothic vibe that the “Dead Man” brought to the table.
The way Undertaker carried himself before and after the fight was something that added to his overall persona and made him such a big name in the wrestling scene.
In-Ring Presence:
Even though Undertaker was one of the big men of the WWE, he was still known for his agility and powerful move sets, which include the iconic ‘Big Boot’ and ‘Choke Slam.’
With the risk of sounding like a maniac, the infamous match with Shawn Michaels was one of the best moments in the Dead Man’s career. I could even go on to term it a work of art.
Hulk Hogan
Career:
Well, those of you do not know, but during the ‘80s, Hulkamania was a very real thing. Children all across the United States of America were absolutely impressed by the Hulkster’s superhuman-like presence and charisma.
In fact, to this day, no other wrestler has become as big as the iconic Hulk Hogan. According to a business insider, no other wrestler has brought in the amount of money Hulk Hogan has brought to the industry.
In fact, if you ask any old-school fan of wrestling, who is the best WWE wrestler? He or she will answer it with a singular name, Hulk Hogan.
Look:
Hulk Hogan was the face of the Rock ‘N Wrestling era of the ‘80s, and he certainly looked the part. His tanned 300-pound frame, horseshoe mustache, and long golden hair have made him recognizable.
In fact, his look became so popular that it allegedly hyped up the sales of bandana.
In fact, his look was also copied by our beloved Dead Man during the early days of his career. So, Hogan was definitely a credible addition to the best WWE wrestlers of all time list
In-Ring Presence:
Hulk Hogan was not just a pretty face. Apart from being one of the highest-marketed WWE wrestlers of all time, Hogan also showed great in-ring skills. Even though critics might claim that he was a man of limited range, personally, I believe that he was a great wrestler as well.
The Final Bell
