The Monday night football might not have been the best thing for the Jets fans, but they were certainly elated to see Aaron Rodgers walking into the Jets locker room unaided.
Furthermore, fans also saw Rodgers tossing passes before the previous Jets’ game. This is certainly one of the best signs for any Jets fan. However, things are not all right just yet.
The star QB tore his Achilles in the very first game of the season. This is why A-Rod needs to go off the field and join an intensive recovery program.
Since then, QB Zach Wilson has taken over the torch from Rodgers. No matter the results, fans did agree that Zach tried his best to fill the shoes of Aaron Rodgers. But the final game against the Chargers, which ended with a humiliating score of 27-6, has left fans in utter distraught.
Are We Back?
With everything going haywire, fans are only pinning their hope on one singular thing: the return of their beloved QB A-Rod.
But things are not as fine and dandy as we want them to be. In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers shed some light on his recovery journey and his expected date of return.
When McAfee asked Rodger, “You do a little three-step drop pivot, you have to turn a lot of force on that front foot, that’s like 58-yard ball, are we back?” The NFL sensation replied with a piece of sad news, saying, “No we are not back that’s just my stress reliever and that’s just me feeling a little bit normal, feeling like you know I’m back member of team.”
Other than that, Rodgers did not discuss anything about his return.
However, some sources suggest that Aaron Rodgers might be back around the December 28th mark. But then again, this is not a confirmed report.
However, given the rate of his current recovery and his progress, fans do believe that this window is plausible. Still, there can be a lot of things that can go wrong from now to then, so it is best to moderate our expectations.
