Sir Charles is a man of several sports. He started his career in basketball, but somewhere down the line, he decided to switch things up.
Currently, Charles shares a great affinity for the sport of baseball. And in that sport, he roots for the Philadelphia Phillies. And Charles was one of the fans who loyally supported his current favorite team.
The Cheer Face
The picture of Barkley’s excitedly cheering the Phillies was used as a motivator. Also, it is a way to extract some chuckles from the fans.
Moreover, one even captured a screengrab and posted it on his X handle with a caption that reads, ‘Phillies using a Charles Barkley hype video telling the crowd to ‘make some noise.’ The screengrab featured Charles with his iconic cheer face getting featured on the jumbotron.
In fact, his loyalty to his team is not a publicity stunt. In fact, just hours before the Phillies vs Diamondbacks game, the press asked Charles about his favorite team or the team he is rooting for.
To this, the man finally replied, “Every time they show me on the Jumbotron in Philly, people send it to me, so I got to roll with the Phillies.” So, this confirms the veteran’s true love.
