But where do we draw a line? In a creepy turn of events, Twitter suspended a fan account for predicting Aaron Rodger’s injury with a scary level of accuracy.
The fan account wrote, “aron Rodgers is going to tear his Achilles on a rain drenched MetLife turf in 2.5 hours.” This tweet came just two hours before the 8:15 p.m. kickoff on Monday.
By the time it was 8:30 p.m., medical professionals were taking 39-year-old A-rod off the field with an ankle injury. Later, the world found out that the athlete was dealing with a torn Achilles.
This certainly was not a good piece of news for the team, as Aaron Rodgers was supposed to be the team’s savior. But fate works in the weirdest of ways possible.
X Account Banned
As soon as Aaron Rodgers left the field because of his ankle injury, the tweet started going viral. The sheer accuracy and the creep factor brought in fans like moths to the fire. Soon enough, 11 million people across the globe checked out this tweet.
The sheer accuracy of the tweet. But on Tuesday, X officials took down the tweet, as well as the account that posted the tweet. Twitter officials did not state any reasons behind this move.
