Arnold Schwarzenegger is not a man. He is a myth, a legend, and a beacon of success. Arnold has been a household name ever since his debut in the foray of bodybuilding and movies.
Ever since he broke into the scene, he has proved himself to be a master entertainer and an unparalleled action star who has given us some of our most memorable cinema experiences.
Apart from being an amazing action star and a bodybuilder, Arnold has also proved to be a successful politician with his two terms of governorship of the state of California in the late 2000s.
Arnold has reached where he is today by overcoming a lot of obstacles. Not only that, but he is somebody who is still going strong no matter what.
Recently, the 76-year-old athlete and movie star talked about his ‘back to basics’ journey, where he had to restart his training after an open heart surgery. But what caught fans’ attention was the assault he had to face just after a few months of the surgery.
The Love & Hate
During his prime, nobody even came close to Shwarzenneger’s physique. In fact, many bodybuilders who are in their prime today would often see the Austrian Oak as their beacon of inspiration.
Pair it with widespread movie fame, Schwarzenegger soon became a popular name. With popularity came critics, and he took them on open-heartedly as well.
Back in 2019, just as Schwarzenegger was recovering from open-heart surgery, the Austrian Oak faced an unwarranted assault by a disgruntled fan.
In a promotional event for his long-running franchise ‘Terminator,’ Schwarzenegger kicked a fan. We see the fan take the blow and recover from it fairly well.
Later on, the bodybuilder took to the internet and said, “I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you.” The post was received by fans worldwide, as he refrained from bad-mouthing or using any threatening language. This showed the star’s maturity and composure.
