So, the time has finally come…It’s time for the FIFA World Cup…this time, it’s 

Which country is going to lift the trophy? No one knows. But we can predict how they are going to perform based on the previous games they have played. So, here are the players who are going to amaze you for sure.

Players To Watch In This World Cup

There are 8 groups, 4 teams in each group, and 26 players in each team. So, there will be a total of 832 players. There are a few players whom you haven’t heard about, there are ones you know that are definitely going to perform, and there are these legends. 

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Forward, 37)

There is no doubt that this man can achieve his final dream as a football player despite being 37 years old. Currently, he will play his 5th and last world cup. If there is any dream left for him, that is to lift a World Cup trophy. He is already at the top of scoring the most goals (117) in international games. Everyone knows what he is capable of, so wait and watch for the man to perform.

2. Lionel Messi (Forward, 35)

After so many years, the wait was over when this man finally lifted an international trophy for his nation. Copa America 2022, against team was Brazil, and Argentina was able to secure a 1-0 lead for 90 minutes. It is time for him to give his fans the last bow, and that is a World Cup trophy. He has been showing his skills for PSG, he is definitely going to amaze us. 

3. Neymar Junior (CAM, 30)

After winning a Gold Medal for his country in Rio 2016 Olympics, he is unable to show his skills and leadership to his fans. This year the Brazil team has enough firepower, and there is a huge odds about the Brazil team. Tite has told that Neymar would be a valuable player for the team who are lac in experience but good at skills.

4. Thomas Muller (CAM, 33)

This amazing player and person already lifted a trophy with his team in the 2014 Brazil World Cup. If someone asks what is Muller’s specialty? Then there is no specific answer, but he is capable of doing anything a football player should do. He is 33 years old and probably will play his last World Cup. 

5. Hugo Lloris (GK, 35)

He is already on the list of World Cup-winning players for France. Last year he wore the armband and led the French team to victory in the 2018 world cup. One of the star players of Tottenham Hotspur, and has been playing for the club for more than a decade. French is also on the favorite list of winning the tournament, and this 35-year-old legend will be Deschamps’s first choice. 

6. Luca Modric (CM, 37)

A little boy was raised in a refugee camp after his house was burnt down and his grandfather was killed by the army, the boy is right now worldwide famous for his form, consistency, leadership, and for many things- he is Luca Modric. In the 2018 World Cup, he showed a brilliant performance, and he is like a fine wine, getting better with age, he will surely play nice football.

7. Harry Kane (Forward, 29)

Despite getting the golden boot in the 2018 World Cup, Harry Kane was unsuccessful in winning over Croatia. England has shown what they are capable of in the last couple of tournaments. They have knocked away from the last world cup in the semi-final, and last year they were able to reach the Euro 2020 finals, but they were defeated in the final against Italy in the penalty shoot-out. Harry Kane will give his last breath to perform the best.

8. Sergio Busquets (CDM, 34)

If a person can achieve every trophy as a football player, then Busquets is one of them. He has already won two Euro Cups and one World Cup. But the Spain team is unable to show proper success after 2012. Busquets has the responsibility to show what he can do with the armband and the young Spanish Armada. 

9. Robert Lewandowski (Forward, 34)

We all know that if Lewandowski has the ball inside the 18-yard box, then there is no wall that can stop the ball from going into the net. Poland has come to the world cup after facing some difficult teams, but they have experience defenders, cool and calm midfielders, young wingers, and most importantly, their arsenal consists of Lewandowski– the goal machine.

10. Kevin De Bruyne (CM, 31)

If there is any luck in this universe, then give a few to this man, and he will definitely lift a trophy with his international team. Belgium was the dark horse in the previous world cup, but they were defeated by the champions. De Bruyne has the vision to find anyone in the field, he has speed, and shots from outside the box are deadly, in one word, he is a complete player. 

11. Luis Suarez

He is known for his great finish. From taking Liverpool to its glory to being one of the key players of Barcelona, Suarez has scored more than 500 goals for clubs and countries. Right now, he is facing issues with finding a stable club. But we are going to watch him play his last world cup. He is definitely going to give his best in the upcoming tournament.
