The UFC 295 is knocking right at our door. This year, UFC is all headed to Madison Square Garden to host one of the biggest PPV or pay-per-view events of this year.
As you already might know, there is a light heavyweight title fight that is making all the headlines. Former champion Jiri Prochazka will be butting heads with former middleweight champion Alex Pereira.
Main And Co-Main Event
Both the fighters are all set to prove their worth in the bloody match for the title. Last year, Jiri had to let go of his title due to an injury that even compelled him to have surgery.
But after everything, he is now fully healthy and is hell-bent on reclaiming his title. On the other hand, we have Alex Pereira.
For Pereira, it is all about ambition. He wants everything, and nobody is stopping him from getting it. Moreover, Pereira is currently looking to become one of the first few men to be a two-division champion. And with that, UFC 295 is about to be one of the biggest sporting events of this year.
But you must definitely not discredit the co-main event as well. So, the co-main event will be between Sergei Pavlovich (No.2 in ranking) and Tom Aspinall (No.4 in ranking).
However, initially, the fight would have been between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. But Jones’ injury squashed the possibility of that fight. And to step in their shoes, Pavlocich and Aspinall were roped in.
The Moneybag
With such a huge fight coming up, fans are eager to know about the total salary of each of the fighters included. As of now, there are no specific figures. But sources suggest that fighters will be getting the following figures.
Alex Pereira: $506,000
Jiri Prochazka: $504,500
Sergei Pavlovich: $256,000
Tom Aspinall: $256,000
