In fact, Nick also knows how he is seen. In a recent interview, Nick extensively talked about what her girlfriend felt about him when they first met.
In a recent media appearance, Nick Kyrgios revealed his first meeting with his current girlfriend. Nick went all in as he started discussing his first meeting with his girlfriend and even discussed what she thought of Kyrgios.
Before he came to the interview, Kyrgios asked his girlfriend about her first impression of the tennis athlete, and she replied with words like ‘arrogant’ and ‘volatile.’ This hit Kyrgios hard as he realized that people see him as that globally. Such an impression makes it tricky for anybody to socialize with him. Kyrgios said that he is finding it difficult to combat these notions.

On Jay Shetty’s podcast, Kyrgios went absolutely candid while talking about dealing with misunderstandings. Kyrgios said, “I use my girlfriend as an example. So my reputation in Australia is like arrogant. He’s crazy. He’s volatile. And having those three things when you’re meeting a person for the first time, they’re probably three pretty rough things to like, already assume of someone. So I had to prove every time I meet someone new, I have to kind of prove to them that’s not me. And so I asked her what was the first three things you came to mind? And then she told me those three things. So that’s about everyone in the world that hasn’t met before, assumes I am. And that’s that’s pretty brutal.”
