Unlike the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Neeraj Chopra will not be absent in the Lausanne Diamond League. The Olympic champion in Javelin and Silver medalist in the World Championship of Javelin Throwing, Neeraj Chopra, has confirmed to take part in the Lausanne Diamond League.
Neeraj took to Twitter, saying that he would indeed be taking part in the Lausanne Diamond League. After winning silver in the world championship of Javelin throwing, Neeraj will return to play for the first time in a while. He missed the commonwealth games of 2022 due to his groin injury.

the Lausanne Diamond League will select the top six finalists for the final, which will take place in Zurich on the 6th and September. Neeraj currently holds the fourth position after finishing second place at the Diamond League of Stockholm.
During the World Championship, Neeraj faced a groin injury after winning a silver in Eugene. Currently, in Saarbrücken, Germany, with his coach, Dr. Klaus Bartonietz, and Ishaan Marwaha, his physio is ready and determined to win the diamond league title.
He also mentioned his goal to achieve the diamond league title during the world championship. Yesterday he confirmed his return to the field.
