Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, on Tuesday in the WTC final, was responsible for India’s collapse. Before the incident, Steve Smith made sure to score his 31st Test Century. Smith followed his fellow partner Travis Head and made 121 runs in the first innings with a total score of 469 runs at The Oval.

But India was at a big deficit of 318 runs with 151-5 at stumps. KS Bharat and Rahane remained the last unbeaten batsmen. In the last over, KS Bharat took a nasty shot from Mitchell Starc.
Cummins gave a full-length ball and sent Rohit back to the pavilion at a score of 12. Next, it was Subhman Gill, who was bowled by an off-cutter by Scott Boland.
Both the senior batsman of India fell out with a score of 14 on Tuesday. Cameron Green bowled Pujara out, and Kohli was sent back with a spiteful delivery by Mitchell Starc.
Smith took the catch with an excellent leap over his head. Jadeja grabbed 51 runs with seven fours and one six. But he submitted to off-spinner Nathan Lyon with 71 runs with Rahane.
Moreover, Australia did great in the first innings with a total score of 163, with Head and Smith at the crease. But their pace dropped when Australia lost four wickets for 41 runs. So, they dropped from 361-3 to 402-7.
Mohammad Siraj, the fast bowler, took 4-108 from 28.3 overs. On Tuesday, in the opening overs, Smith scored three figures along with Steve Waugh.
