NASCAR’s Truck Series’ last showdown has certainly stirred the pot considerably. However, it did not put a brake on the fresh faces that were joining. And one of the newest joining teams is the Faction46. Faction46 will supposedly make a grand entrance in 2024. So far, the team has managed to create a considerable amount of buzz about their names and their partnership with Niece Motorsports.
Even after the major fiasco that happened recently, teams are just pouring in to compete in NASACR’s Truck series. Surprisingly, newer and eager teams like Faction46 joined the fray to leave a mark on NASCAR’s future and history. Faction46 is a team that is spearheaded by the duo, Lane Moore and Logan Moore. The team is currently looking to test their No. 46 Chevrolet Silverado RST. This mean-machine was built in partnership with Niece Motorsports and has an amazing AE Engine that can change the very game.
Newest Player To The Front
In a recent interview with Eric Estepp, co-owner Logan Moore elaborated on his passion for NASCAR. Moore said, “I love racing, I have loved racing all my life. Whether it’s racing myself or helping others get to the track it’s been something that has been a passion of mine. The idea of starting a team has been on the back of my mind for a long time. So, this year, parts and pieces just kind of fell together and now we are here.”
He further elaborated on the logic behind his team’s name. He said, “Faction, you know, it’s just a cool word. Every team should have a cool word, right? The “46”, it has got a couple of different meanings. The first is that it represents the 46 states of the union in Oklahoma which is where I raised my family, we have had our businesses there. So, it seemed fitting to have it in Oklahoma represented in the name. Besides, the second meaning is a little touchier, we’ll have to talk about that in a different show.” This shows that the co-heads of Faction46 do not see this as a mere business venture but as a family.
