Kiran More Tests Covid 19 Positive At A Crucial Moment
The former Indian National team wicketkeeper-batsman Kiran More tests Covid 19 positive on Tuesday, as reported by the media. He is currently a part of the Mumbai Indians team in the Indian Premier League. Working as the team’s talent scout and wicketkeeper consultant, he plays an integral role in their organization.
This has left the cricket associations and enthusiasts in India shocked for being the first case of a franchise representative getting affected in the IPL bubble, which is bio secured.

The Good Part
However, despite all this, the good news is that Mr. More has been declared to be asymptomatic. Right now, he is undergoing isolation in Chennai, as stated by the management officials.
He is safe and trying to recover to get to the field as soon as possible. Mr. More testing positive is, however, no surprise as he had been attending several events and sessions in Chennai over the last week.
He had undergone and cleared all possible tests both in Mumbai and Chennai before the results came out positive. The medical department of the team will closely monitor Mr. More’s health on a continuous basis and obey the safety protocols of BCCI.
IPL Control & Safety Protocols
As dark covid cloud looms over IPL 2021, there is an increasing list of people who are getting infected by the Covid 19 virus. Kiran More has also been added to that list. When the media officials raised their concerns and queries about this specific Covid case that took place in a bubble, the BCCI secretary and chairman ignored such aspects.
However, it has been confirmed that Mr. Kiran More, as well as the Mumbai Indians team, have strictly followed all the guidelines laid by BCCI. The day Mr. More tested positive, the team canceled their practice session as a measure of precaution.
All the players were also made to go through a rapid antigen test, the results of which came out to be negative. While the Indian Premier League hierarchy has been taking severe measures to keep things under control, we hope for Kiran More’s urgent recovery so that he could get right back on track.
